YouTube Clip Maker

Set start and end times for an embed preview. Copy a start-time link or embed code with both limits. No video file is created.

Use a watch URL, youtu.be link or embed URL. Videos must be available in YouTube’s embedded player.

A timestamp in the pasted URL does not fill Start or End.

Load a video to set times and create a link or embed code.

Keep the moment with a note

Save clips with notes and tags in a Klipse library, then group them into playlists. Saving requires an account; this selection is not transferred automatically.

Questions about clip links and embeds

What does this clip maker produce?

It produces two different results: a timestamp link that requests your start time and continues playing, and iframe embed code with start and end parameters. The preview uses the embed parameters, not the share link.

Can I download a video file?

This tool does not create downloadable video files. Its links and embed code use the original YouTube video, so playback depends on that video remaining available.

Where can I use the embed code?

Paste it into a webpage or editor that accepts iframe HTML. The video must allow embedding. A chat message or ordinary document cannot necessarily run this code. YouTube may start slightly before the requested time.

Is the tool free, and are clips saved?

The public tool is free and requires no account. Times entered here are temporary. To save clips with notes and tags, create a Klipse account and add them in your library; this selection is not automatically transferred.
